"規範的な技術" の運営上の扱いはSHSBCで再定義された。 "規範的な技術" はHCOBに書かれているもので、大姉本や菜園本にある技術は明確に "規範的な技術" から除外された。 論'sは教会と同じレベルに関して幅度のこの方針に従っている。 また、署名を確認することを幅度は求めている。 ゴム印ではダメなのだ。

しかし、HCOBが本物かどうかを確認するのは難しい。 結局、HCOB以外の音声資料、主にSHSBCの講演記録から菜園の基本原則と応用事例を広く学び、それぞれのHCOBの真偽を菜園についての知識を用いてそれぞれの菜園人が判断するしかないのだ。
